CEDARS Future Funds Scholarships
Eligibility Requirements
- Current or former CEDARS client
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Enrolled in or starting college between July 2024 and April 2025
- Meet the criteria for financial need (Eligible for Federal Pell Grant)
Selection
- Must be submitted by April 30, 2025
- CEDARS will notify all recipients
- Scholarships are available in various amounts
- Recipients may re-apply on an annual basis
- Recipients must present award letter to the admissions office at school of their choice
- Funds will be transferred and applied directly to tuition and fees based upon receipt of enrollment verification
Acceptable Use
- Award funds can be used for any nonprofit institution regardless of location
- Award funds can be used for equipment and materials necessary for a secondary degree, such as a laptop, books, CNA classes, or tuition, but cannot be used for room and board
- Award amount will be split into two payments to be paid directly to the institution at the beginning of each semester
